Chocolate Cake Ganache

For the Chocolate Cake:

Ingredients:

  • 1 and 3/4 cups all purpose flour

  • 3/4 cup hersheys unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 and 1/2 cups white ganulated sugar

  • 2 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 cup coconut oil

  • 2 fresh eggs

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup buttermilk (1 tsp white vinegar and milk mixed for 5mins)

  • 1 cup hot black coffee or brewed

Chocolate Ganache

*(melt chocolate in microwave and add in all purpose cream)

  • 1 cup chocolate chip/bar

  • 1 pack all purpose cream (I used nestle cream)

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips/sprinkles for toppings

Instructions:

* Make buttermilk in advance. Combine all dry ingredients separately and the wet ingredients.

* Gradually add the dry to wet ingredients. (do not overmix)

* Preheat oven at 350F and prepare your pan by greasing.

* Pour in mixture and put in oven for 25-28mins. (you can check if done by sticking a toothpick and it went out clean)

* Cool completely. Once cooled, pour in ganache and design with your preferred toppings.

* Refrigerate for about an hr and serve. :)
